Putting a touring windscreen on the Ninja 300 will change its appearance for sure, but whether or not it takes away from it is subjective. If it works for you and improves your riding experience, do it!

I see a lot of people recommend Zero Gravity, but another great option is the Puig Racing Windscreen.

 

I could sell you my Zero Gravity Touring screen. Had it on for a few days and decided that it pushed the wind up too high for me. I'm about 5' 8". Probably better for a taller person.

 

I bought a tinted double bubble of of ebay shipped for $25 bucks from china. took about week and a half to get here but No issue of quality and compatibility here. Cheaper option if you dont want to pay anywhere from 80-130 for a windscreen.

I got mine for the same reason of wind. I am 6' and travel probably 50 miles + a day highway to work and back and this helped tremendously.

 

I got some ebay ones myself to try out how much it would affect the draft, turns out pretty good.

I like how the stock windscreen looks, but dont like it clear. Bought some black semi-gloss rustolium, and sprayed inside. Looks pretty nice.
