So I've been thinking about purchasing new levers for my SE ABS Ninja 300, but being new to the motorcycle scene I was wondering what the top brands are or what is it that I should be looking for when purchasing a new clutch/brake lever.

I know the Ninja 300 is a pretty new bike and not all manufactures or brands have parts for it yet so the list may be limited to a select few.

I'm thinking of going Long Clutch and Shorty Brake levers combo.

If you have aftermarket levers on your 300 which brand and why?

X2

I'm carrying the fire extinguisher.

I've read about the reported failures, and those all had a brass sleeve. These do not. The ones I bought are identical in the shape size and connecting manner as stock, so there is no extra parts to fail.
Mine are adjustable and pivot up.
Hard to beat for the price and the seller has great feedback.

I am pretty sure they are the same ones as Tony97

I love how they are now the exact distance I need from the clipon and the correct length for 2 fingers

Pazzo levers! Had them on 4-5 bikes now. Love 'em. They also offer more room for the Woodcraft clipons if you get the shorties.

Has anyone tried the Slingshot Racing levers? I know one rider here got hooked up with a ton of their stuff, but I'm looking at their levers, there $150 a pair.

ASV, Pazzo, CRG.

All well know and reputable brands with solid products backed by excellent customer support.

I have the ASV levers on mine and they are worth every dime I spent on them. I really enjoy looking at my bike and not seeing one bit of chinese made and copied part added to it.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Pazzo is not quite up there yet compare to other two.
For the price I'm sure Pazzos are great, correctly me if I'm wrong but I heard they use bushing instead of ball bearing like ASV and CRG.

Same as ToNY97. However, I ordered the gunmetal grey and got these gold ones. I didn't feel like waiting another 3-4 weeks for return and getting new ones (and they grew on me)... so I just kept them.

I just got and installed my silver with green adjuster shorty levers from the2wheels on eBay. While my wife was practicing in a parking lot she dropped it twice and bent the brake lever a little, not bad just ugly but still usable. That was the main reason I got new levers. I also wanted a bit of style for a cheap price.

I went on a test ride right after I got the clutch adjusted and double checked that everything was tight. It will take a little while to get used to the short levers but so far I like them. I am shifting smoother, I think due to the shorter travel. I have the clutch set on the second closest setting but that might change after some more riding tomorrow. The brake is set on 3 or 4, that might also get changed after some parking lot hard braking to make sure I have enough room to pull in a panic stop.

Install was super easy and only took about 5-10 minutes. Just one bolt per side. If anyone cares to see them let me know and I can try to post up some pictures tomorrow.

ASV C5's. They're a bit pricey but are top quality, well made, will last forever and offer an almost unlimited number of adjustments for the distance between the grip and the lever so you can be almost guranteed to find your sweet spot.

Yeah but for the price for a set of the ASV's you can get 10 sets of the chinese knock offs. May only last 1/2 as long but your still out in front.

ASV are the shit though, had a pair on my last bike and they are very adjustable. Not to mention look awesome. But not again for that price.
