Has anyone tried to Plasti-Dip that plastic fairing piece in black, below the upper headlight area but above the side/middle fairing?

Know what I mean? I want to do mine in white. I might try it and see what happens, and if I like it I'll go permanent with it. I never liked that black section.

Since I've already done the mockup, I may just go with perma-paint on this one so I can put decals on it and wash/clean it without issues.

Here is mine and very similar to yours Kairus. Mine started peeling after 1day where my knees touch so I'm going to have to try a bit of patching it up as well.

AAAAHHHHHHH!!! Sounds like something I would love!! In Canada, the 2012 Kawi 650 was black with just a touch of color in the spring being red, I LOVED it!! Just that little bit of red really made it look cool

IPP in Langley, BC sells it, but at $19 per can.. SCREW THEM!! you can order it from Home Depot, but again $20 plus per can.

Try Kijiji or Craigslist for your area. If all else fails, go across the line if you are close to the border. I am and will be making a run in a few weeks to home depot and placing and order.

Have you tried places like CarQuest, NAPA or whatever "car care" places you have in your area? Performance shops? Paint specialty shops?

Scuff up with a red 3M scuff pad. Wipe down heat shield with wax and grease remover. Spray your paint. Done.
