Mirror (adjustment)

so how do you adjust the damn thing :blinksmilie:. I want to adjust the bar that is connected to the mirror. I try to turn the adjuster but it just wont turn. any advise?

the handle bar of my mirror are not even on both sides that why i want to change it. one of the handle bar is really off and i can only adjust so much of the mirror itself. should i take it to the dealer then since you suggested that i should not play with it. i actuallt like these mirror and just want it to work
