High RPMs? any thoughts?

Stock gearing is 14 front/ 42rear (almost sure), so the ratio is 3:1
Going +1 in the front or -3 in the rear, will have a similar effect, which is a tighter ratio (around 7%). So for the same rpm's the rear wheel will spin faster. Or for the same rear wheel speed, the rpm's will be lower.
Going -1 in the front or +3 in the rear will have the opposite effect.

Before buying gears, make sure you're able to remove the front sprocket. It's really stubborn. I couldn't get mine off.
You can still play with the rear sprocket. That one is not that hard to pull out.
