I’ve never had a cable that didn’t need lubrication. Nice touch.

I use a product called Dri-Slide. It’s pricey, but you don’t need to use much. Works great. Doesn’t attract the filth once dry. It’s probably just dry silicone type fluid. But the applicator needle means you so t need to monkey with removing cables etc.

Yeah it says right on the instructions not to lube them. I always just do it once a year or if I had them apart I’d do it anyway so it was never a hassle.

Edit: I actually lied, it says silicone lube is okay for the cables. I was looking at the little picture of a bottle with a line through it and thought it was lube but it says not to use any solvents. I'm not sure why everyone says you don't have to lube them but I think I'm going to, it can't hurt...

Well this is ironic, I got the Kawasaki switch and it’s about a foot too long. 🤣

Carpimoto sells the universal switch that you have to splice your own end on for $30. Had I known when I ordered this I would have saved $70 and made my own at the right length lol

The Domino fits fine with well more than enough length in the cables. Makes me wonder if the MP would have worked.

They didn't have enough free length in the actual metal cables though so it was an absolute pain to get them installed on the cam. With both ends adjusted as loose as they'll go I have just enough free play in my throttle. Good thing they'll only get looser over time lol. I looked around and a few different bike owners (R1,Zx-10 etc.) mentioned the same thing with their Domino throttles. Got the progressive installed to see how that feels.
