Please correct me if I'm wrong but I was recently told that buying a aftermarket exhaust wiil replace your stock exhaust aswell as remove the catalystic converter as the catalystic converter is in the stock exhaust and the aftermarket exhaust doesn't have one.now if that is the case and decatting your bike increases performance then why wouldn't a slip on improve performance?is the catalystic converter not in the muffler end or am I completely lost?where is it?

So that's why people keep saying that slip ons don't improve performance.and that's why Full exhaust is better.
