So I decided to lube my chain yesterday for the first time and asked my neighbor about it because he was out mowing and has bikes. He lent me this cool wheel cleaning tool that he got from Harbor Freight. Worked great, just roll the back tire on it and it lets you spin the tire while spraying the chain. I just bought one today for $24 with a 20% off coupon. cool little tool for easily cleaning the chain. I also have a wheel stand but I can't figure out how to use it by myself without feeling I will tip my bike over.

Why not just get a rear stand? You can clean the wheel, adjust the chain, remove the wheel for sprocket or tire changes, and use it when storing the bike.
