Whats you accent color?

Are you going to add an accent color to your bike and if so what color?

In the past everything I have owned was a black bike and I added red accents, or a red bike and I added black accents...

This is my first white bike and I am really unsure what to do.. I have looked up ideas online and I have seen it all.. red, yellow, green, orange.. Seems like anything goes good with white???

I was thinking about white accents to divide the green and black but at the same time retain a OEM look. also just about anything goes well with white.

i bet other colors would look good, but it would involve some good planning and placement just to look good in my opinion
Is carbon fiber considered an accent :D
I am really thinking about CF as well, but it would have to be REAL CF not the fake stuff. I was just thinking yesterday that a CF front fender might look really good on the white..
I'm thinking of going with the shaddow chrome/gunmetal grey colour of the peg brackets.
I was thinking of the same color when I first bogught the bike, it looks like most aftermarket companies call that color "titanium".

I like white, but it looks kind of plain. What does everyone think of this idea?

I like the "factory look" so as soon the 2013 parts are available I was entertaining the idea of ordering the black carbon fiber stripe that comes on the special edition green 300. The black carbon fiber print and white pinstripe inside the black stripe might look good on a white 300.

I have an idea already once stuff comes out. But keeping to myself until I start doing it. I'm known for customizing my rides. So hooking up my 300 will definitely help me live up to my reputation.
I think Red accents would be nice. Gold/Bronze might work too.
So on my white bike I decided it.. converting some of the silver items to black.. Converting over some items to carbon fiber.. And I will be doing some small red accents as well :)
The black and green looks great as is to me. The white with black is also OK, but the black seems to need some contrasting colors since almost everything is black..I was thinking I might get some yellow rim tape. It needs more though I think. Any suggestions how to add yellow, or red to the bike. I thought of a tank pad and stickers too. How would you break up the black with a bright color? My daughter suggested refrigerator magnets. LOL
I'm going for gold and black accents on my white ninja. An up market Triumph feel.
White black, and carbon :) very oem look and sexy

Can you tell me where you got your fender eliminator
anyone know if i can get my wheels the same color as my pegs?
the titanium?
otherwise i think i am gonna chrome the wheels
Gold and Black on my Red 300.

Any decals I put on will be black, and come spring I'll be replacing all the stock caps, steering nut, bar ends, rearsets, etc. with gold coloured parts. Should look nice :)

FYI, chrome makes anything weigh much more. This is why Harley guys chrome everything (they don't care about going fast) and sport bikes have no chrome. Powder coating or anodizing is usually the way to change the color of some thing on your bike as they don't add much weight to the parts.

With that said, if I did something major to change my bike, I'd probably powder coat my wheels green (I have the SE model) I love the look of colored wheels that match the bike, I guess I like the racing look. :D

Waiting for someone to mention the CF..........

When I was at the dealer on Friday picking up my Ninja 300 ;) they did mention to me that there are some CF panels coming very, very soon. You know those black fairings with the funny pattern all over them..................
apparantly soon all to be available in CF. And I am assuming this would include the surround that wraps around the dash and is visible from the front under the floating windshield. Would look shmicko IMO.
My wheel trim accents

These are my only accents on my black ninja:
My ninja is white. The accent color is black.
Awesome explanation.
