Hey whats up everyone. Just got my first ever motorcycle, I've ridden these fantastic things before but never owned one.
I'm still a first time rider street wise, regardless of that I believe driving responsibly anyone can do it. So far I've put 80 miles on her, after hitting 70 miles in the odometer i took her in to the freeway and reved it to 7k RPMs and it felt smooth.

This is a great time of year to ride in S. California and here in Texas. The Ninja 300 seems to love cooler weather too. I would love to try lane splitting an filtering, but alas, it is illegal in Texas.

I just assume I will get pulled out in front of, cut off, and rear ended.

Congrats on the bike. I took mine out for a 2 hour ride today through wine country and throughout town. I have about 85 miles on my bike so far and been trying to break it in per the manual instructions.

Would you recommend really revving to 7k RPMs at such a low mileage?
