Hows it going. I have been lurking around the site since I got my bike (you know what it is) and decided to join. Seems like a lot of nice people on here. Kind of spread out, maybe someone from the houston/galveston TX area would want to meet up and go for a ride. I have been riding since 2002 and have owned several different bikes. All were Yamahas except the new Ninja. Decided to give it a try and it is awesome. I have had an R1 and 2 R6s, plus 2 FZ6s and YZF600r. Just to give you a hint at some of the bikes I have owned. Decided to go with this cause I wanted something really good for tearin up the back roads and not making my wife want to kill me for doin 170mph. Anyway, enough with the rant. Glad to be here and look forward to reading some good threads. Take care and be safe!

Yeah, I love the bike. I have a lot of sport experience along with a few track days under my belt. This little bike can handle with some top sport bikes I have ridden. Other than the acceleration out of turns and power in general, I think this would be freaking sweet on the track. Hoping I can get scheduled for a track day in early december. Down here it is still in the 70s at that time generally so the weather would be great. Ill definately keep you guys updated when I get something in the works and let you know how it performed.

I am surprised to see so many other people on here who have fallen in love with the little 300 after riding supersports with real power. Glad to know I am not the only one!
