What kind of tools actually come with the bike?

I went to the dealer yesterday to pick up the owner's manual (the bike itself will have to wait for all the Toronto snow to disappear). I asked him if there is anything else that comes with the bike and he said there are tools inside the bike.

First of all, what the hell does it mean when he says they are INSIDE the bike? That doesn't sound too healthy.

More seriously though, which tools exactly are these? Are they sufficient for basic maintenance work / oil changes?

Thanks

Look under the passenger seat. There's a small compartment which you can open thru a key hole under the tail of the bike on the left side. They are basic tools that can help you with the bolts. If they're not there look in the gas tank, maybe the dealer literally put it inside it, just fish it carefully so it won't clog your tank.
It's a small assortment of tools placed underneath your passenger seat to give you basic maintenance to your bike (bolts and whatnot). None of those tools will remove the initial filter because it's on tight as hell.
You will need a filter strap after reading a few post off this site. Ppl have reported the hulk put the filter on along with the left side wind screen bolts :)
I had no problem getting my filter off. It was just hard to get my filter tool in there.

What tool did you use? Would it have been easier if you removed the lower side fairing first?
