I'm trying to install the Scottoiler VSystem but I have no idea how to remove the vacuum tube connection. I'm not entirely sure I'm even looking at the right part honestly. Really could use some help so I don't do something stupid.

From the right side of the bike, is it that sucker I'm supposed to take off? I'm assuming that's the throttle body, but I'm also terrible at figuring out what the service manual is showing. Excuse the green light I used :p

Aite, and that's why I ask before doing anything drastic. I think this may have to wait until next weekend now. I have no idea where the intake is either. I've never really done much beyond oil changes on a bike.

I can remove the fairings. Is it possible to remove the gas tank without draining it? I don't think I have the means to do that. Short of going to a mechanic, I'm pretty much on my own for this.

Does the vac line absolutely have to cut on the 300? Their site actually has instructions for a FI Ninja 250R and, assuming the 300 isn't too different from that, they say to just remove the rubber bung, then put the L-shaped rubber piece on the spigot. I have also heard it's a pain to remove the rubber bung though.

The kit comes with pretty much all the connections for any possiblity so I could cut it. I just figure if I need to go back to stock for some reason then not cutting would be better. I may end up cutting anyway if getting the rubber bung off proves to be too much of a pain in the ass.
