Has any of you boys/girls done a tinted windshield yet?

I think it would lool sexy as compared to the clear, Im not talking limo tint here by any means just something darker?

Couldnt imagine it being too expensive

If your any good at paint they make a tinting paint in a few colors. You can normally find it at a hobby shop.

I called 4 different places in my area and no one will tint it because it is plastic not glass, I'm just going to wait until tinted plastic ones become available online.

When you say paint, do you mean a solid color or just smoke like a few people that smoke their tail lights?

I don't know if I'll be tinting my glass. Need to see a few 300 first with different colors.

It will be black like a dark limo tint. Hopefully it will look nice.

VHT looks awesome if you take lots of time with it, including wet standing and polishing.. Youtube has lots of people doing QUALITY work with VHT..

I know for the average person it looks like flat black clear coat though, as it has no shine..

I don't think I'd paint my windscreen completely opaque. It looks interesting tho, show us what it looks like mounted.

Good old fusion spray paint from Walmart in gloss Black with Gloss clear coat. You spray paint the inside and clear coat it. It looks like a purchased an after market tinted windshield. All for like 7 bucks!!
