I was lucky to get a few minutes to spend with Mew and doll her up a little bit more. Got her some Shogun Swingarm Spools and a carbon fiber tank pad. I made a little video because I'm too lazy to type tonight.

Are swingarm spools a common thing to add if you already have frame sliders? Do they really protect that much? Just curious

+1 for weight savings :p

Removing the stickers to save weight!! I love it :)

Why is your side stand and rearsets covered in painters tape?

The swingarm spools or sliders are a must for protection also. I have a video on YouTube showin my CBR after a crash and the swingarm spool was ground down a ton but the swingarm was untouched

If you check out some of her other vids, she has blinged out her riding boots with pink sparkly stuff. The painters tape is to keep the "sparlkly stuff" from rubbing off on the rearsets and stand.

Did you use the sliders that are meant for the 250? I'd like a pair of those lol

Dont suppose the frame sliders off the 250 fit... =(

Hi everyone... I finally got my Pit Bull stands. They are amazing! So much easier to work on Mew now. I know the blue tape on my shoes and heel guards is overkill lol. I didn't think about the crystals scratching when I went crazy with them. It must have been the glue that made me soooo high I just kept adding more and more :)
(took 6 hrs - my first ever craft project)

The Ninja 250 spools should work on the 300. Kawi makes their swing arm thread pitch the same for all of the bikes according to my dealer. Shogun spools perform very well. The factory Kawi spools are very small and all alloy, mainly for lifting the bike. Why not have spools that perform double duty? Well have fun riding!

Oh and I have video of the all new 636 and 650! Should I post it?

Rear stand spools are all generic. They come in 6mm, 8mm, and 10mm thread size. Kawi's for the most part are 10mm. I put 10mm Driven rear stand spools on mine.

FYI on spool bolt sizes.. All 10mm spools are the same with the exception of KTM, they use a different thread pitch, so if you see ones you like and they are listed for KTM they WONT fit. Dont ask how I know haha..
