Got the ok to post this here, at least for the short term. Seeing if there is any interest in a weekend meet up this summer. I'm thinking BBQ, swimming, mini tech day, local rides and such. I've seen this done on other bike specific forums and looked like a good time.

I say we keep this thread alive, come spring time and early summer we are going to get some serious traffic on here.. I think this would be a perfect late summer get together

You can lead and block traffic at intersections so we dont have to stop at red lights

Had one of those in a BIG group ride once.. We had no legal right to do it but it worked out nice haha..

If you get the permits you can get the local PD to do it for you.

yea we had no permits, just two guys out in front on wearing reflective vest to make it look more "official" they seriously just went right into the middle of the intersection and blocked traffic.. We have red light cameras in our area, surprisingly no one in the group got a ticket..

They have similar get togethers in a cruiser forum I frequent, heh, there is one in late june or july in utah, i'll check. Maybe I could just pop on over the mountains and see some folks.
