If the bike runs well, it doesn't need a service at 2000kms.
Anyways, regardless of any service done at the shop, always periodically check yourself:
thickness of brake pads,
chain tension and lube,
tire pressure and condition (check for cuts or punctures)
throttle operation (good spring come back and a little bit of free play when closed)
lights (specially brake lights)
I may be forgetting something. Check the owners manual for the complete list of things you should check your self.
If anything of this is not ok, take it to the shop or learn to do it yourself.
A bike that is maintained at a shop once a year is almost sure not properly maintained. For example, chain should be lubed every 500 or 1000 km, or after use in the rain.
It looks like you are in India, is that correct?
If so, I HIGHLY recommend you watch Arka Roy's Youtube channel: Arka Roy
He also has a Ninja 300 ABS, and makes great videos where he explains things very clearly, and even gives prices for each service (in Rupee).
I couldn't find a video on the second service though, only 1st and 4th.
I need some advice. I bought a cheap replacement rear disc (ABS Z300 2015) on eBay and have tried to install. The new disc comes without the ABS ring. The question is how to remove and install the ABS ring to the new disc?
I just realized that the Air Cut valve and circuit is removed from my 2014 ninja 300. The cylinder head cover has a plate where the hose is supposed to connect and the air box is capped where it connects there.
How will this affect the engine? Thank you for any help.
Hey my husbands bike tipped over on the left side where the shift pedal is and the foot rest peg busted right off the metal mount.
Any idea what this piece is called? Dont think itll be safe enough to weld back on. Is it something that's going to cost us big in labor?
Thanks so much!
I have a 2013 ninja 300 that i got from a friend at about 23k miles. Is there anything i should be worried about maintenance wise ? The owners manual goes up to i think 20k but after that nothing... I know the usual tires, chain, oil and things like that but anything specific i should be worried...
Hello right now I am rebuilding my 2016 Ninja 300 ABS. My friend gave it to me for free thinking it was just a starter issue which it was the starter gear holder broke(seems to happen I found on other forum). I got a donor engine for very cheap 100 basically a new engine which you will see in...
