Just be careful with those integrated tail lights guys, you may fail a WoF with them in New Zealand - depending who does your WoF.
In saying that, the only reason I don't have one is because I'm keeping my bike stock because I'm going to end up selling it to upgrade as my riding needs change, and it saves some cash.

To be legal you must have a rear facing red reflector, number plate light, and the indicators mounted as far towards each side of the motorcycle as is practicable and noticeably visible from different distances in normal day/night lighting and viewing angle. i.e, from the side of the bike.

Some vehicle inspectors interpret this differently, VTNZ will most likely have different standards to the guy who does motorcycles at the bike shop...

Keep your stock tail light, reflector, and indicators just in case, I know a CBR600 rider who has to swap his out for WoFs.

I'm just down the road in Western Springs, on the weekends I usually head West to Piha/Muriwai, or South East through Clevedon to the Coromandel.

I also ride with another Ninja 300 owner from West Auckland who isn't on this forum, and I have just recently started joining a weekly Wednesday night ride and carpark training session with riders who meet at the Westgate Z petrol station at 6.30pm - open to all riders.

Hey Matty, i bought my integrated from TST like you suggested about 2 weeks ago and still haven't received it, how long did it take to receive yours?

Have you got it yet? Mine took about 20 days. The delivery didn't require a signature and the left it where I couldn't find it till I called them and they told me where it was.

Picking up my 2015 Ninja 300 30th anniversary edition on Monday!! So excited :biggrin: but have to wait for 3 weeks while my gear ships from Italy and US. Just though in the mean time I'd see if there are any Ninja 300 groups rides that regularly occur in the Auckland area? Preferably newbies like myself :laugh:

Was originally going to get a black one but apparently Kawa have stopped making it for the 2015 model year?! So got the 30th anniversary edition which is the green/white/black combo. Ill post up a pic tomorrow when I get her home. I live in Albany but don't mind driving over the bridge if thats where the action is.

I love that colour but ended up getting the white one myself. Its in getting fixed or maybe written off, will find out tomorrow. Can't wait to get it back though.

I'm all good. But just heard from repair shop there is about $5k damage so I have a feeling the insurance company will write it off. I came out of a corner too wide and caught the gravel.

I just received my new Ninja, loving it, would have to be one of the best purchases i have made in a long time. i am returning to riding so doing my best to get my skill levels up again.
