So after a few years of having my fat gut riding on the tank the factory tank guard pad is peeling up. I’m sure I could peel it off and spend forever cleaning the residue off but I’d really just like to cover it up.

With that said… does anyone know if the tank pad is available as a replacement part?
Or is there an aftermarket one that is the same footprint or at least larger so it covers up the place where the old one was?

If you use a heat gun or hair dryer to warm the pad, you can get the glue residue off easier. Time consuming but very doable.
