Today I removed my stock exhaust to give me an idea of what the bike may sound like with a straight pipe (like the hotbodies MGP growler)
When I went to put the exhaust back on I didn't notice it had a wire link heat shield and exhaust gasket tape on the inside of the pipe on the exhaust side.
Unfortunately it had slightly pealed back and when I went to put the exhaust back I pealed a lot of it back and crushed to the point where I couldn't actually get the exhaust back on with out removing all the stock heat protection.
Just a heads up in-case you ever need to fit you stock pipe back on once its been taken off.
Be very gentle and make sure all the heat shield is pushed into the side of the pipe link.
