Hey guys,

I made it out to Guelph to Royal Distributing to check out gear. They gave me a few ideas but they didn't have a jacket and pants that I liked. Sizes were tough to find too. I'm a large.

I headed to Kitchener to visit Zedeno's Cycle as I drove by it for many years, never made it inside. I found everything I wanted at this store. I was very surprised as it is a small store, but when a staff member asked if I needed a size, they actually had stock in the back! They were even able to offer different colors etc.

It was my first time buying gear and I had a great experience. I budgeted $1000 for gear and walked out of there with jacket, pants, gloves and helmet for $680 taxes in. Everything I bought was on sale somehow. Got lucky I guess.

Above is the gear I bought. I will post a pic of me and my black bike soon! Get it on Friday!

Nice find! I am finding it hard to buy gear here in Ontario also, Royal really doesn't have much. I'm headed to the International Center in Toronto this weekend for the spring show, hopefully there will be lots there.

Nice gear skinny :)

Don't forget boots! And while those gloves will probably come in handy on hot summer days, for the rest of the year you'd be better of with some full leather gauntlet gloves.

You can usually find some great deals at the shows, just get there early.

Check out Velocity Sportsgear in Mississauga too. Jimmy (owner) sells some amazing quality, custom designed gear for a very good price. I don't think he's going to be at the spring show unfortunately, but you can stop by his store/showroom while you're in the area. Don't go by what he has on his website, it's not really up to date. You'll have to check out his store to see his latest gear and actual (lower) prices.

Shows are useful, but I've gotten both my jackets after finding them online first. They just didn't have the new stuff, or if they did, they never have the colour I want or size :(. Special orders seem to be the norm
