Where do you buy your gear from and why?

Do you purchase online or at a local shop?

And if you buy online what retailer do you use?

Lately I've used Motorcycle Closeouts and Motorcycle Superstore.
How is Revzilla? And what are some others that you have tried?

Amazon for the most part. Excellent return policy + free 2 day (or 2.99 overnight) shipping for Prime members.

Just ordered from Revzilla for the first time (Alpinestars Tech Aero Backpack) so I'll let you know how the experience with them is.

I use both Motorcycle Superstore and Revzilla. Both have great pricing. The brands they carry differ slightly which is why I use both.

I have thought about Revizilla, but with Motorcycle Superstore they give you a 10% off next purchase coupon. The downside is that it expires.. What pissed me off about Motorcycle Superstore is paying for return shipping -_- I spent over $200 and they want me to pay to send it back..
It sucks for me because I am pretty much in between two sizes for jackets, a small is a little short in length, yet a medium is good in length but just too wide for me.

I'd like to actually go to sportbike track gear eventually also, as it's maybe a 15-30 min drive from where I live... I haven't been.. yet.
They seem like a really good store too though. They have video reviews on YouTube of most of the gear they sell, just like revzilla does.

For the other Canadians here, Blue Streak Racing is amazing.

Prices comparable to south of the border and his free shipping tiers are much lower than Canada's Motorcycle for the bigger provinces. Incredibly fast service and shipping too. My orders always ship same or next day and I receive them the day after that.

It's a pretty small shop based in Southern Ontario, but he [Tony Blue] has a huge following. My only complaint is his website could use a little work (the search function barely ever works).

never. just saw it a few days ago. a lot of good stuff there and prices r pretty good. they're quick to answer emails. once i get my bike i would def buy it there.

I use revzilla. I also love their video product review right there on the site. I've never had a problem with them and my stuff arrives quick.

I just bought a helmet from STG and the price was killer ($100 less than anyone else) and it shipped within hours of my order. What impresses me is the time these guys put in to the videos. Buying this stuff online is hard but the videos make a world of difference for me. The videos are not fluffy marketing promos either - very useful real world help.

Yeah we definitely try to shoot you straight on those videos. Typically they're pretty positive reviews due to the fact that I don't carry certain brands that would produce crappy products (won't name names). Sometimes a certain glove or shoe might have a different application than others, and that's where we're able to spell things out and make sure you're getting exactly what you expect.

No problem - you have a good business and people need to know who to trust. You put a lot of work in to those things and it shows.

On the flip side, I would not have needed to buy a second helmet from you guys at all if Bike Bandit hadn't sent me a scratched up, clearly used helmet in the wrong box . I am in the process of getting it warrantied because the side hinge was broken. Lesson learned on that deal.

You will see some more orders from me for sure. Especially if I can find a deal on one of those closeout Alpinestars jackets when they are in stock

Well, pricing on closeouts is usually pretty set. Hard to discount them once they get marked down like that.

Worse, if it's closeout and also "not in stock" I would guess that they're not going to come back in stock.

What exactly are you looking at?
