just throwing this out, ive done some cosmetic repair on my bumper before, all plastics, used "quick-steel" comes in a tube, 2 compound you mix together to activate, forms a thick puddy, used it to hold the bumper on the car for a year, since the plastic clips were broken, it actually worked and held all year. I would assume, you can use clamps, hold it together, and place the stuff in the back on the crack, maybe score it some on the back for better application

My local dealership has the side fairings for the SE with a status of readily available. I mentioned the "national backorder" and they looked puzzled. They double checked and it's not on backorder. Maybe it's just for the white or black models.

best way to stop those cracks running thru the fairing is drill a small hole say 1.5mm diameter at the end of the crack.the crack will not go past the hole.

fill the hole with body filler

on the inside of the faring where the crack is follow it along and put a small "V" in to it for glue to get in to it and bond it

i use a small tip on a dremmel tool the shape of a ^ and do it slowly or you will melt the fairing

then once the v is done get some sand paper and on the inside of the fairing again roughen up the surface for a centimeter to two back from the crack so the glue can have a good surface to bond to

and then go nuts with jb weld and fill the groove you cut and spread it out a bit to the parts you sandpapered

this will fix the crack permanently

i have lost count over the years the amount if fairing i have fixed like this and it never lets me down

ok cracks repaired
plastic fixed and sanded
did not have any paint that i trusted the color
so i plasti dipped it black
i have some blue krylon paint i wanna use
anyone know if krylon will adhere to plastidip?

never mind just watched a video of wetsanding after putting
krylon on top of plastidip

so next is to let the plastidip cure completely then will be painting it
blue with the krylon

this will actually be pretty fun
guess wheels will be red since the sides will be blue hehe
