Ok, started the list. First go around was for rotational mass stuff. This is from the American model, non-abs.

I take no responsibility or assume any liability for the information contained in this post, transcription errors, damage to your motorcycle, accidents, personal or property damage, death or any other situation that may arise from the use of this information. Use this information at your own risk. Verify all information before purchasing parts or installation.

I took the information as it appears on the web. So some stuff gives the units "mm" but all should be in "mm" like a bolt 8X30 will be an M8 bolt, 30 mm. If you know pitch sizes or would like to add information, please let me know.

The service manual only has Nut / Bolt torque values. My Ducati service manual has a size table in addition but I didn't see anything like that in the manual. Does anyone have a list or table of this information?

I searched and looked through the DIY sticky thread titles.

Yeah, I'm looking for actual bolt sizes, for example:

Front break rotor bolts are M5x8 or something.

Found that the online parts catalogs have some but not all of the sizes in the part number descriptions.

The Kawasaki s.m. torque values are laid out a lot better than the Ducati manual though.

aaaahhh ok now i get it. about the only place i have seen anything like that is like you said online parts catalogues.

this could be a project for you Dave, go hunting thru parts catalogues & piece together all this information, will be a decent sized project but worth it.
I did something similar last year when i produced a cross reference manual for the suzuki gsx250f across, it was my 1991 model that i was having troubles finding parts for till i sat down & starting doing it then i found a ton of parts i could use as i could not find a cross reference manual anywhere on the planet

I vaguely remember SpacePod saying in his Vlog that the rear sprocket nuts were 1.25 pitch. Will wait for confirmation.

How do I get my signature link to just be text and not the direct link like yours, Cruzin?

Ok so i've got bolt sizes for the middle main fairing, the fairing that covers the airbox cover (not the airbox cover itself), the belly pan and the upper black fairing piece that goes between the tank and the main middle fairing.

There's only three types of bolts that cover all those fairing, an M6 allen headed bolt which is 18mm long, takes a 6mm allen key and has a thread pitch of 1mm. The other bolt is an M5 allen headed bolt, 19 mm long, takes a 5mm allen key and has a thread pitch of 0.8mm. There's also two black, domed philip headed bolts that go under the airbox cover fairing (one for each side). They're 18mm long, take a philips headed screwdriver and have a thread pitch of 1mm. There's a total of 16 bolts for all those fairings (4 M6, 10 M5 and 2 philip headed M6's). As a note, there's also four bolts (2 either side) that hold the main fairing into place. They go underneath the belly pan and the upper black fairing. I'm not too sure of there sizes but from memory the one that goes under the black fairing is an M6, 18mm long and takes a 10mm socket with a thread pitch of 1mm. The other one goes behind the belly pan and is an M5, 18mm long and takes an 8mm socket with a thread pitch of 0.8mm.

I measured all these bolts with a set of vernier calipers and a thread pitch gauge. If you need more info, i'm here to help.

also, on the brake/clutch assemblt on the handle bars there is a small black rubber grommet that covers the holes, remove that rubber grommet and you will find a bolt hole for mirrors.... or you can use it to mount stuff to like a camera mount my "ram mount" etc.

the bolt you want to get in there is 10x1.25x25mm (thread pitch 1.25) works a treat to hold the ram mount in place for camera.

Hello.

I had my bike lowered when I first got it so I had installed handlebar risers. Recently I raised my bike back to stock height and unfortunately I didn't keep the stock bolts. I looked in the manual and as you have listed it call for an M8x22. The fact that I'm impatient and didn't want to pay $15 for 4 bolts off the internet I did a little hunting around all local hardware stores. At first I called around and asked specifically for and M8x22 Allen bolt, all the places that I called said they only have 8x20 or 8x25. Another thing was they kept asking for the pitch. I had no idea what size pitch but it turns out the bolts that will work have a 1.25 pitch. I ended up getting 8x25x1.25 bolts from Dale’s Hardware in Fremont, CA. I’m sure you can use an 8x20 but I figured it was better to get something longer than buy something too short. If anyone wants here are the links for the bolts from Lowe’s and Home Depot.

8x20x1.25 - Lowes
8x25x1.25 - Lowes
8x25x1.25 - Home Depot
