I live about 5 minutes away from the bobbin head rd side entrance of the park. I did it after only putting about 150km on my bike (and this is my first bike). I took it incredibly slow, but it was a very rewarding experience. Considering getting an annual pass for the national parks, as $11 each visit is quite pricey. With Ku ring gai natio park, BE VERY CAREFUL. It's pretty techy and the roads a bit rough. I took the car through there last night for a sus, I'll prob head there later this arvo with the bike.
I did it once each way (entrance to entrance). If you go down there, make sure to stick to your own side of the road around the corners, as I have seen cars in the past come around them pretty quickly... Also be careful of cyclists as its quite popular with road bikers.
Does anyone know if Akuna Bay is pay to enter as well? It looks as though it is, but I've never been down there before.
