Hello all,
I'm Amanda. A California native transplanted in Virginia by the military. After a long wait, I finally bought my 300 this weekend. :D
I believe I am now officially a ninja turtle.

Tentative Goals:
Fender eliminator
Powdercoat the wheels
Keep up with the boy's s1000?

It's pretty amazing, not really too much that -needs- to be done.

You need the rest of the outfit and a green Ninja! (I have one, so I'm a little biased) This guy was up on the Snake on Halloween :D And welcome to the Forum
That is AMAZING! I'm jealous. I am doing an orange theme though, so I figured I could be Michaelangelo. :p

Welcome :)

Well until you powder coat those wheels get some orange reflective rim tape from pro grip. I've got white on my ninja and absolutely love it. Small cheap mod, does make a big difference.
Thanks! That's a great idea, it would be cheap and hold me over. The white looks really good too, I might rock that for a while until I get around to the real painting.

Welcome to the forum. Where in VA are you stationed?
Thanks. I'm at NSA, just down the road from NOB in Norfolk. :)

Not too far from me. I reside by JANAF. Did you get yours from Sunrise?
Ah, I know where that is. We should work on a Norfolk ride once this funky weather gives up. :)

Re: Sunrise. **** fucking no. They seemed like nice people (and I live a minute down the street) until they told me they needed a $900 assembly fee. I was quoted 6,200 out the door (without the extended warranty) by them and one other shop down military highway.

So I youtubed what it looked like to open the 300 crate... the only thing missing were the mirrors and these guys wanted to make it sound like it was assembling an ikea warehouse.

Went up north a little ways past Richmond and got it for 5,400 out the door. I am happy now.
Again, they were decent people, but I never want to buy anything in a military town now. They all just know they can drive prices right up.

Or what I REALLY like to hope isn't true is that they think I'm just a dumb girl...
