The Ninja 300 definitely gets great mileage.

You fill up the tank. Then see how many miles you put on that tank. Next time you fill up, you take the mileage you have put on and divide that by how much gas you had to put in to get back to full...I have no idea how to calculated. But I know fill the tank every two weeks or more with $12 which is awesome
I am at about 45mpg right now.. My down town city commute KILLS me.. On my 600 I was only getting about 35mpg on my commute.. Both still better than my truck which averages about 6mpg though the city
