The swing arms are the same, but the 300 has an extra bolt hole in front of the tire. This means that a hugger designed for a 250 could go on a 300, but one for a 300 couldn't go on a 250 unless you added an extra bolt hole. Still not a big deal. Just not plug and play.

Hate to revive an old thread but can anybody confirm if front/back wheel rims from a 250R fit a 300?
I'm trying to go racing but I don't want to use the "good" tires for commuting; so instead I want to use the 250r wheels for that. Any help would be great.

old thread revival is a good thing, show you know how to search;)

for the parts, if you have a look in my signature below theres a parts list for all sorts of stuff. in there in the first page there is a cross reference for parts for the 300 and 250. its a web site, for both bikes, just compare the parts between the two yourself and see what you can see

i have looked at a few of the quick release rivets on the bike. we all know the ones, they are the small back ones that press in to undo & then lift out. they are awesome little beastys. anyhow if you fireup ebay & search on "fairing clip 7mm" you will find them. i bought a pack of 20 delivered to my door for under $5. hope this might help someone. tested and they work fine with the 300

Would this air filter fit my 300, seeing as the 250r and the 300 share some parts.

Cheers in advance.

Only perfectly mate. I've just installed one myself an hour ago that bought online from amazon a week ago. Fits perfect and even come with some grease for applying around the filter and some installation instructions.
