Hey Everyone,

I'm completely new to riding bought my ninja 300 about 2 weeks ago,
I'm also into the car scene and have been driving a Ford Focus ST.

Quite amped to learn a thing or two about bikes so any newbie advice or tips and tricks to check out (Like the snorkel air filter mod) is welcome since my knowledge mainly covers cars.

Unfortunately the limited edition ninja 300 is not released in South Africa, so out of curiosity what am I missing out on?

They are wonderful little powerhouses and are such a great bang for the buck!

I use to be in the Ford scene, had a 2010 Ford Focus SE. She got totaled on October 4th of last year and I have since been rocking a 2012 Scion xB.

Make yourself at home and note the search bar up above in the black link section, it will be your best friend in finding useful information. If, however, you don't find something your questioning that way feel free to start your own thread. Much to be learned here, and never ending knowledge being posted everyday.

Sup! So did you get the black or green one?

Let me know if you come across any local retailers that stock mods specific for this bike, like fender eliminator/exhausts/frame sliders etc. I'm keeping an eye out too since I'm not very keen on paying intl. shipping costs.

ps. As far as I know power commander should be available in SA not sure when they'll bring out the 300 specific maps tough.

I got the same one Was actually wanting to get the white one so badly, really sad news when I heard they weren't going to stock it here.

I don't know much about the biking clubs at all hey, I usually just go riding around by myself on the nice sunny days, and commute daily Already pumped about 2000km on her in just over a month.

Fnb does a paypal thing.if you sign up for that then you can buy some parts on ebay.haven't tried it myself.sounds like a mission.if its any consilation you can get frame sliders from your dealer but its the ones where they cut into the fairings.and a two brothers exhaust.that's all I've found so far.
