Hello everyone,
I purchased my Ninja 300 SE a week before christmas. It is my first bike and I am loving it so far. I live in San Diego and believe it or not when I first got my bike we were having temperatures in the low 30s and even high 20s. We are not use to that here. However, this past week we have had temperatures in the mid 70s and even low 80s. Let me tell you, highway 101 along the coast right by the ocean sure is a beautiful ride!

Welcome and congrats on the purchase! I got mine at the beginning of December. It's anywhere between 18 degrees to 75 here in Virginia (crazy temp changes), but I'm riding through it all. Enjoy!

Almost the same story as you. From San Diego, first bike and bought it 1 week before Christmas. However I have yet to do the coast trip. Have you done borrego springs yet? Its a great ride but a little cold. Should be nice now that the weather is getting better.

I'd say if you have the time and experience the trip through the mountains towards Palm Springs is awesome, lots of exotics go through there.

Congrats. Yeah i feel you on the sucky freezing weather we had the last few weeks. Hope those days are behind us.

I too got my bike last weekend. Been trying to break her in proper so that I can take it on a journey.
