What exactly is the point of the adjustment on the levers. Does it control the distance from the grip or the tension on pulling the lever?

EDIT: Okay I did some looking around and found the answer. The adjustment does infarct reduce the distance between your lever and the handle grip. And the fold that the levers do is in case of a crash the lever will fold up instead of breaking.

Note: Not all aftermarket levers fold. Also, folding levers are still damaged in some crashes, so they aren't invincible.

just a word of warning when you drop your bike and your brake/clutch ever is bent, its pretty much guaranteed if you straighten it or try to , you will snap it

buy yourself a new pair of brake and clutch leavers now and carry them everytime you ride
