Hi everyone!

I have problem with the speedometer. the small display (Multifucntion display) on my bike has no backlight, i can't see anything when riding at night. What should be the problem? Could anyone please help tell me about this? Thanks in advance for your helpful reply.

Hi! Ivy2000100

I guess my image was broken then! what i refer to is the Small display (Fuel Gauge, Speedometer...) it doesn't have the back-light. So i can't read any information when riding the bike at night. Is it because of Fuse or what? Thanks for your reply.

Best Regards

The only thing working on my gauge cluster is the right turn signal, no tachometer, no speed and no back light. I changed ALL the fuses on the bike and still nothing. The headlights and turn signals and brake lights work fine. I ordered a new gauge cluster, I hope that cures the issue.🤔

Apparently, a whole new cluster can be had on eBay for ~$40.00.
The true mileage gets wiped out though, I guess, and installation may not be completely straight forward. They do look the same though.....

I ordered a brand new one on EBAY, 135 bucks! I opened the non working one and found water damage on the circuit board. There is what I thought was a surface crack on the screen, but apparently it was leaking enough to short out the gauge cluster. 😡😡😡 You have to take both side fairings and the nose to get the gauge cluster out. What a pain.

I've had the same issue for a while now and been putting the work off as I know it's a pain to do. Multifunction LCD light started flickering but now it's completely dead; Tach and turn signal still works though so it's definitely just that bottom right display. Can someone confirm that only way is to replace the whole thins? Thanks and ride safe!

Has anyone been able to change the bulb ? I've got the same problem now, thanks
From what I gathered, you can't change backlight of the speedo LCD as it's built within the unit itself unlike the RPM gauge where there's LED on the circuit board that you can desolder and replace. I ended up buying 2nd hand instrument cluster which obviously affected my true odo reading

I brought a white 12 volt led , you can open the housing , glued it on the right side of the lcd and run wire to the park light and patched into that , so far seems a good result
