what are they called at Harbor freight?

http://www.harborfreight.com/bad-boy-air-horn-94117.html

It's just the standard badboy horn at harbor freight. It should be similar if not the same as the Nautilus and I believe it comes with everything needed to hook it up.

The banshee uses the badboy horn as a basis for additional things so it's more expensive. There is no banshee equivilent on harbor freight though.

where did you order it from? also what kind of accessory kit did you go with.
I found a seller on eBay with submit an offer option. After viewing the pics to see if they were legit (lots of fakes out there), I sent an offer and seller accepted.. $37 shipped!

What accessory? wiring kit? I do my own wiring. :D

A good horn is very important in parking lots, gas stations or any situation where someone is going to back up into you. I saw someone back into a guy fueling up his bike even though he was yelling and waving his arms.
I would recommend this horn and also suggest you keep the key on so you can use it while fueling.

a airhorn is a great idea to when morons in cages dont check their mirrors and decide to change lanes and your coming past them and they want to flatten you. blast the air horn, watch their eyes fall out of their head and they dart back to the lane they were in. this has saved my arse on too many occasions in this city. too many idiots who dont look & dont think & too busy screwing round with their phones

It really depends on the situation.
Sometimes you will see a cop purposely not use his siren to keep people from over reacting. There is a potential for someone who is startled to over correct and end up fishtailing right back towards you.
In city traffic sometimes when people here a horn they just stop abruptly because they have no idea why or who is honking.

How would you honk your horn while you're filling up your motorcycle's gas tank? ;)

How do you ride a bike with one hand?
I was referring to the horn being non-functional as long as the ignition is turned off. Presumably, your key would be somewhere else like the gas cap or your pocket while filling the tank with gas.

I guess you only read the first half of my post and missed the part where I recommended leaving the key on. You could also wire the horn so it will work with the ignition off which is what I will be doing.
