Rear seat cowl

If you use a rear tail bag, I recommend you put the seat back on, for the occasion.
I have rear seat cowls on 3 of my bikes. It sure is a clean look!

Those are some nice bikes you've got there, torchsport.
Thanks, man. But non of them are green...
I will definitely add a rear cowl to the Ninja 300, as well. My girlfriend wont be carrying a passenger anyways.
That pic you posted REALLY shows how sharp it is, and how well it cleans up the tail.

Yes it's called a rear seat cowl (here in the U.S. anyway) The dealer I got my bike from ordered me one, but it won't be in for a few weeks. And F.Y.I. the bike won't actually be a mono-post, it's just a cover that looks like this picture that Revol posted. There are bikes that are either mono-post or bi-post, you can't carry a passenger on a true mono-post as the sub-frame isn't strong enough to carry a passenger. My buddy has a Ducati 999 that is a mono-post, and the rear part of the frame is lighter, but not strong enough for a passenger.

Thinking about doing this as I rarely have passengers. They can take the bus!
I started a thread about this a couple weeks ago.. I am thinking of doing the same thing, the only thing holding me back is my wife haha.. She has her own bike, a 2009 Ninja 250R, but it always has me concerned, what if her bike breaks down in the middle of no where then what haha...

What is a monopost? Is that just the plastic cover for the rear seat? In the USA we typically call it a rear seat cowl, at least that is all I have heard..
That's exactly what I was trying to talk about. Sorry about my bad vocabulary.

Maybe this topic could have the title changed to "rear seat cowl"?
