I ordered a SW-motech tail rack for the +08 Ninja 250. mounting looks close enough to make due, I want to get a Give monokey case on there soon for touring.

I had offered to ride my bike up to Twisted Throttle so they could spec out a rack specifically for the 300 but they don't have time right now so... I'll give this a shot. worst case I need to mod it a little to fit but it looks real close to me. The main mount uses the 4 passenger peg bolts. A second mount is under the tail, thru the trunk floor.

More to follow when it arrives, I expect midweek.

The SW-motech rack bolted on 95%. it fits the bike at the pass peg mounts perfectly. This is the under tail bracket, misses by alot. I flipped it over and this is where it sat...

why did you make that huge frame? i've never seen something like that before on a bike
I have seen a few on sport bikes, but of course I live in a military town. All them navy boys gotta transfer their stuff on their only ride somehow!

Worst I've seen is a guy overloading his bike with dufflebags.

Edit - Didn't see there was a second page where you said you didn't notice the topic. Nevermind!

I have the Ventura Luggage Rack on my 2008 Ninja 250. I see that they have a luggage rack for the 300 now, but the SW-Mototech is much prettier!

That Moose box is too small for my needs so I'm gonna sell it cheap and I have a CooCase S50 box with backrest pad for passenger enroute with a quick release mount plate for the SW-Motech rack. Three 1/4 turn quicky bolts pop the mount on/off in seconds. A simple twist of a screwdriver locks it on/off.

That means the case is installed completely in about 30 seconds from a bare rack and back in the same time.

I added a Cortech tankbag too, I had one about 5 years and handed it down to my kid brother. It was in service another 5 years and given away again! They don't make the one I had anymore, but I found a new NOS that was bigger and built in the same style. The cheapo one I showed above is still a good deal, and I may use it as an every day bag anyway.

I'll post up some pics of both when I have the box in hand!

ok, i have to be honest, that looks crazy, there is no way i would have that on my bike. But I have to be real and honest, I know that several people, use bikes as a main transport, and sometimes, you just gotta have the storage. Im glad you got what you were looking for, and now it will be that much easier on you to toss stuff in there and ride out.

Crazy?

I think it looks like a two week bike trip next month!

Wait till it is 2up loaded and south bound & down.

It takes me about 30 seconds to literally lift the tank bag off and remove the box. I expect to piss off a few on "real" sportbikes by passing them with that stuff mounted!
