This might be a dumb question...

I was on the freeway today and in rush hour going about 15 mph. I ended up being behind another bike ( with just shorts n a shirt on) and he was riding for a good mile without touching the handlebars. How is this possible? He didn't have anything in his hands (he ended up texting...thus I'm glad he was in front of me not behind me) but I don't get it.

Does he set his rpm idle high?

Now I would never do this I don't think. I like the fact of being able to grab the brake or clutch if needed. Or to swerve. It's more of a curiosity thing.

I thought cruise control was only on like gold wings n such. Not sport bikes?

I think bar end throttle locks can be installed on most bikes. I've considered getting a throttle lock from Manic Salamander before.

Dude from Ride of the Century stood up on his bike and rode it down the freeway backwards for quite a few miles. I believe he was on FB while doing so.

I did that on a bicycle once. Ran over a speed bump and down I went. I felt stupid...
