Hey guys. I'm about to go back out there (after kneading and stretching my hip/ass) and want some pointers. My right hip is a bit tender and I'm thinking it must be from how I'm sitting.

Are there any changes in position or stretches that can help?
Thanks!

You might just be getting used to the shifter. I had a sore hip the first day because I was searching for the shifter with my foot. It'll become second nature in no time.

Try sitting back a little, sitting too far forward makes your hip and knees in a position that may cause pain on longer trips. The seat does push you forward if your skinny liek me... you may want to invent in a custom seat =D ok i'm a sucker for mods haha but it may help, and maybe soften up the padding wile your at it

of also dont feel you need to grip the tank with your legs, that may cause pain if you do...

You may be a candidate for some adjustable rearsets. Not sure what's available for this bike yet, but it may be something to consider.

I began to stretch before riding and also adjusted my position on the bike (scooting more towards the front) and the hip soreness has disappeared. Thanks for the recommendations! I was hoping it wasn't and everyday thing.
