Anybody know how to fix a stock rear turn signal from vibrating off?it sits on a sleeve that's mounted to the rear fender.everytime I go for a ride it vibrates loose and I'm worried it will eventually break the wiring.
I don't know if it's screwed on or is held on through friction. If there is a screw that holds it on, use some locktite on the threads. If it's held on through friction, then putting a coat of liquid silicon on the contact surfaces and let it harden will keep it from moving.
Theres two clips under the fender that hold the sleeve on.got them off and took out the screw and there's another screw in the sleeve that holds the sleeve and turn signal together.mine was stripped.mine was stripped so I just superglued the sleeve and pushed it back on.it works well.I just need to figure out how to get superglue off of my seat now without damaging it.amatuer mistake on my behalf.thanks for the help.apreciate it.
