It was an aftermarket LED bulb in a factory housing.. I tried to fight it and the judge said is it factory?? I said no but its a replacement LED bulb. He said is it the same type of bulb that came factory.. I said something like its a 194 bulb the same bulb the owners manual calls for.
The judge then said guilty, I intentionally installed a bulb to give some sort of ground effect on the vehicle. It was done intentionally because I knowingly installed "aftermarket equipment" to give this effect.
I am not the type of person to yell at a judge in traffic count and call BS.. I just took it and paid the ticket and wanted it to be done.. Technically, the way the law reads, what I did was illegal, and I intentionally installed that bulb because of how bright it was..
Cost me something like $110 for the ticket fee..
This was a while ago when LED bulbs were first coming out on the market as replacment bulbs..
