I love the gauges but I thought the LCD was a little too bright.
I thought about tint. A better option was the removable 'cling' tint.

Finally settled on this: 'Privacy' screen protector. Cheaper than buying a whole roll of tint and there is enough for two, if you mess up.
(Pic is showing half covered so you can see how much it dims the panel.)
Gotta wait for it to stop snowing for the test run.

It looks 'fuzzy' in this pic because it still had the plastic on both sides.
Removing the film cleared it up a lot.

I don't think it's too bright but it could use some anti glare. Good idea though.

Great job. I do feel sometimes when I'm riding at night that its alil too bright which distracts me. But a big deal to tint it yet.

I've considered doing something similar with translucent vinyl to make it a color other than "night-vision-destroying white".

How annoying is that glare! i commute on my 300 and sometimes the afternoon sun can be very annoying... Interesting idea getting an anti glare film!

Has anyone seen the "hidden dash panel fuction" on a yamaha R3? Or it might of been a cbr300. But, if you type that into the youtube search bar, it shows someone dimming their bikes lcd screen. Maybe it could be the same on the ninja 300?
