I moved my 14 ninja into the garage to prepare it for winter. I am trying to remove the key, but no matter if it is in the lock or off position, it won't come out. Anyone know why?

Most likely there is a sticking pin in the lock holding the key in. I'd spray some lubricant down around the sides of the key, let it sit a while and try again. Kind of wiggle the key around to move the lube around. Be careful as a broken off key is a worse problem that a stuck one:)

If you've not already done so, it'd probably be best to not use a wet lubricant like WD40. You should be able to find graphite powder in the lock section of your local hardware store. The dry graphite will lubricate the pins but won't attract more dirt and grime like a wet lubricant may.
