Hi All, has anyone ever had a problem on footrests spray? today I noticed that mine have a white spot of spray fading on both of them with the shifting side more visible, my bike is only 6 months old bought new from a local kawasaki dealer, does anyone know if they are covered under warranty?

Salt? Living on an island, I imagine the beach isn't too far from where you live?

yes I live on a small island, what I noticed too is that the faded spot isn't harsh it's like it polished itself

Sand then maybe? Something rough that's polishing or grinding downt he finish? Also could be the salt as well. I'm out of ideas on this unless someone else has experienced something similar.

Looks like where your boots are rubbing bugazz_300.

Do you have noticeable wear on your boots /shoes where they would meet the rubbing your footrests?

Do you have buckles and or zippers on the inside of your boots / shoes?

That's my guess.
