Yep, the last 6 characters are your batch/serial number. Should be A#####.

I wouldn't post the last two, since this is the only portion of the VIN that is unique to your bike. The first four gives a good idea of when the bike came off the line compared to others.

Mine is A032XX, purchased in October.

So mine is A013xx does that mean mine was the 13'th built? lol

thats pretty cool if it is! lol
Yours would be #1,300 and something.

#2,000 and something.

Just X'ing out the last two digits so the bike can't be identified, but they're still part of the sequence.

Edit: Of course, this is partly speculation. While the numbers are usually sequential, Kawasaki might roll up the batch number at certain times, or even start with a different number depending on where the bike was manufactured, etc.

Could I contact the dealer or kawasaki and ask if they could tell me? and would it hurt to say something like I had the 1250th ninja 300 off the line?
I don't know which one I have just an example....

EX250JAF - 2010
EX250JBF - 2011
EX250JCF - 2012

Ninja 300
EX300ADF - 2013

The "A" in EX300A denotes it as the first Ninja 300, but will stay the same next year if they don't revise the bike significantly. The "D" is the year and it falls in yearly sequence with EX250J?F. Next year's 2014 EX300 will likely be EX300AEF.

*assumption; 1991 is strangely missing on Kawasaki's website (https://www.kawasakiepc.com/MainNav.cfm?CallNav=1)
