I just called the shop and they're still getting shipments in, but haven't gotten my cable yet. I missed the automated Kawi customer call last week, but when I get it again, I'm gonna let them know that I am not happy about this. Considering that throttle lock is a serious safety hazard, if I was the distributor, I'd have been falling all over myself to get that part out ASAP. "Hey, buy a 300 and the throttle may very well screw up on you the next day" is not good press. Since they already had the part on the east coast, that means I'm not the first person to have the problem. A week's worth of interest on a bike I can't even use steams me pretty bad, too, because I am making payments on it.
