side/kick stand problem?
or is it just me not doing it(parking) properly?
should I put it on 1st/2nd gear so the bike won't move forward accidentally?

1st fall : on its own when i'm still on it (oh the embarrassment...)
this is the 2nd time : fell onto my friend's bike

the position before it happened

Yep. I agree with the above statements. I always put my kickstand down, put my foot behind it and rock backwards, then twist my wheel and make sure the bike is in gear. I have not had any close calls, probably because I'm so paranoid about it falling over.

in a motorcycle class i took they always said push your handle bars all the way to the left. in your picture it looks like yours is straighter. (Look at the way front wheels are on the other bikes and how they are all slanted) But I'm not sure.. if not like the others said leave in first gear. But if you did that, then idk picture angle is wierd D:

^Good eye. Him and the bike to his left do look like the front tire is rather straight compared to the rest of the bikes. Full lock left, every time!
