Anyone else with an HJC CL-16 having a problem with their visor locking in the up position? My clear visor is a litlle tough to drop down, but my tinted one is about to break something when I try to drop it down. Anyone else have this problem?

Is the problem getting it locked into place? I have a different model (CS-R2) but took a couple minutes to understand the mechanism. You know that piece you push in for the visor to pop out? Before you put it back into place, make sure that same piece is pushed in as much as possible (in the same direction you pushed it in to unlock). Sometimes it bounces back a bit, so make sure it's pushed all the way.

Again, this is for the system on the CS-R2. Not sure how different they are.

No, the problem is getting it to come back down after you put the visor all the way up. Whenever I change visors, i'll snap the new one in, but when I try to close the visor, it gets stuck in the up position. Just trying to see if there's a problem with my helmet, or something that I'm not doing right.

With mine I noticed that it took more force than I would expect to swing the visor down. But if you're forcing it an uncomfortable amount then maybe there is something wrong.

Are there spacers between the visor and the lock mechanism? or is it just a push in flip back a little farther and pop it out type thing? cause if so you might have not push it back in far enough and broke a tab off...I've done that and it was a major pain after to close the visor.
My latest HJC is the modular one, bout 2yrs old now...and heavy as heck...and i'm thinking about going "super lightwieght" any suggestions?
