Does anyone know the legality of hid projectors and angel eyes/ led strips in Aus? I finally finished what I would class the most painful and frustrating DIY project I've ever done.
I'm just wondering if its gonna get my bike defected by the cops anyway here are some pics

Hahaha mate it took me the whole Saturday half Sunday and half Monday and 2 hours today... I can definately guide you and tell you exactly what to buy and how to wire it up but it's so damn time consuming

i would have checked it out with the Transport Department *BEFORE* i ordered it to be sure it was legal.

thats just me anyhow.

That's where I bought them. I chose all white lights because I know purple red blue etc. are illegal

Yeah I think most cops don't know what they are looking for anyway. In saying that many cars out there today have projectors like mercs, vw, and Audi but its the strips I don't know about an I didn't make a switch for them either they're always on

there’s a thread about it here on the forum, honestly it doesn’t look that hard, time consuming yes, but not hard/difficult

a well done retrofit can't easily be proved aftermarket by a cop. my setup looks oem. if I ever got a question about it I would have no problem passing it off as an upgrade option from kawasaki on the bike. If you aim them correctly and do the install cleanly, they look OEM.
