Hi everyone. I've been lurking on this forum for a while till now, the reason being that I got my bike today . I got the ABS version, and am loving it so far. I rode for about 15 minutes today and noticed more than a few places where I could improve, hope to practice some more, maybe some of the stuff from msf. Currently I'm in the process of reading the owner's manual, it will be interesting. Oh yea i'm in so cal, so I would love to meet with any others once i get fairly proficient in street and or freeway riding.

Welcome! And definitely get to that MSF course ASAP! It has a ton of great information and skill enhancement techniques. Worth every penny.

Welcome! Congrats on the bike. Great choice especially the ABS. It works seamlessly. Definitely take the MSF class soon. Also there are some good books to check into: Proficient Motorcycling and Twist the Wrist. Both expand upon what you will learn in the MSF class. Congrats again and stay safe out there.
