Is the only location to lock your helmet under the rear seat? I have a tough time getting the seat back on after the helmet is in. Are there any other options to lock the helmet up?

There is a little trick to getting it back on (at least for the 250R). My friend taught me the trick, but I'm not sure if it's the same for the 300, but it's worth a shot. All you have to do is bend the seat a little as you try to slide it back into place. Hold the seat like you are holding a hamburger with your thumbs on the seat side and then push your thumbs inwards.

The seat on the 300 and 250R are not the same design.. I hated the 250R rear seat design haha!! I think your issue may be that the seat is acutally a tight fit, but so the strap thickness of the helmet is just making it hard to close.

Oh. Interesting. I want to see how the new design looks. Any pictures of videos of it?

I think you're right....I was able to muscle it in this morning so I'm hoping it gets a little easier with time....Thanks,

I wont leave my Shoei helmet on my bike.
Had a mate who did that and came back to a cheap RJays helmet.
Yeah I probably wouldn't leave an expensive helmet out either but where I park at work and at home is pretty secure.

Use your man hands not your little girl hands it will go back on no problem. A firm slap and it clicks back into place :)
