New to the forums and riding. I plan on purchasing the Kawasaki Ninja 300 as my first motorcycle. I look forward to reading and posting on these forums with everyone. Any help from those experienced rider and 300 buyers will be greatly appreciated! I can't wait until I can father enough funds to purchase, possibly at the beginning of next year once more SE's get released in my area and prices are somewhat more negotiable.

That is good advice!!! I suppose from just going off of pictures, I like the SE since it appears to look more aggressive.

The white is GORGEOUS! And blindingly bright in sunlight. The only way anyone would miss seeing it is if they were legally blind. So that's kind of an awesome extra safety feature.
Also: Huzzah, I'm not the only person on here from SoCal!

Haha our average commute, or mine anyways yearly will probably be 87 degrees.. A scorching 115 in the Summer.. Ventilation and UV protection will be key factors in helmet and jacket shopping for me..

good gear lol everyone is different and has their own likes me a good jacket gloves pants and boots and I'm good. but i got used to riding in snow so i can handle the cold better. but other than the gear just don't push yourself, if the weather is to much then take a break. i'v never used the warmers but hear they work good for the most part.

Haha I actually had no restraint... I bought the Ninja 300 Ebony this past Tuesday.. The scheme of the blacks just looked awesome in persons and also allows for my own customizations down the road as opposed to the SE having pretty much no room for my own customizations..
